Meet the O'Neill-Plunketts

This is a picture of my husband Duff and myself searching for Moose up in a beautiful location in Maine called Rangeley where there are a lot of moose. My husband was sometimes called Mr. Duff by the Robert College students. Duff and I will be two of the adult chaperones on the trip along with our friend and colleague Amy Sanders.   My husband and I live alone; we don't have any pets, but we have lots of birds in our yard, including Great Blue Herons.    We live in Portland, Maine, which is about 15 minutes south of Yarmouth.   As a family, Duff and I love to take hikes and walks, swim, explore museums and new places, go to Yarmouth sports and cultural events when we can, and go to poetry readings.   Our favorite foods are mostly Italian: pizza, raviolis, and spaghetti.  I am most looking forward to sharing the beauty of the outdoors here in Maine:  our beaches, our coastline, our green spaces.  I am also excited that we will have a chance to see Portland and Boston because these are cities that look very different from Istanbul, so I think it will be a unique experience for our RC student guests.    I am very much looking forward to the arrival of our RC students and teachers for Thanksgiving!
